ὑποβαίνω,

A stand under, τὸ ὑποβαινόμενον σκέλος the leg which is stood on, opp. τὸ ἔξω ἀποβαινόμενον (the lame leg which is pointed outwards to relieve it from the weight of the body), Hp.Art.52.
